Who writes for CoinMagnetic
The CoinMagnetic editorial team writes exchange reviews, partner reviews, and most insights. Daily news articles come from RSS aggregation across 30 plus source publications, then get edited and expanded with named source attribution. AI tools assist with translation and draft generation, but every piece passes human review before publishing. No anonymous bylines.
How we source news
Our news pipeline pulls RSS feeds from Cointelegraph, CoinDesk, Decrypt, The Block, BeInCrypto, ForkLog, and 25 other crypto publications across 9 languages. Each article cites the original source by name with a link. We expand short wire briefs (under 300 words) with surrounding context but never invent quotes or numbers. If the source publication later corrects or retracts a story, we mirror the correction within 24 hours.
How we write insights
Insights are deeper editorial pieces (800 to 2,500 words). Some are written manually. Others use an AI orchestrator that detects sentiment contradictions in recent news, drafts a counter-narrative analysis, runs it through 8 language translations, and produces an OG image. Every AI-drafted insight goes through a final review pass before publication. Drafts are signed by The CoinMagnetic editorial team as editor of record.
How we verify facts
Numbers, prices, market caps, transaction hashes, regulatory citations all get verified against primary sources before publishing. Exchange fees and supported coins are checked against official API documentation at least quarterly. Price predictions reference scenario assumptions explicitly. We do not publish unverified claims or single-source rumors.
Corrections
Errors get fixed publicly. Date of correction and short note appear in the article card and at the top of the corrected article. Material errors (wrong number, wrong claim about a person) trigger a published correction note. Typos and grammar fixes happen silently. To report an error: [email protected] with subject Correction.
Affiliate disclosure
Many exchange reviews, DeFi reviews, and partner reviews carry affiliate links. We mark every such link with rel sponsored noopener noreferrer per Google guidelines. A general affiliate disclosure sits in the footer of every page. We disclose affiliate relationships in the body of every review where they exist. We never modify a rating or recommendation to favor an affiliate partner.
Conflicts of interest
The CoinMagnetic editorial team owns the cryptocurrencies in the public portfolio at /portfolio. Trade history is public with on-chain hashes. We do not write about projects where we hold undisclosed positions. If we ever take a paid sponsorship from a project, the piece will carry a Paid label at the top, separately from regular affiliate disclosures.
