Beldex is a privacy-first Layer 1 blockchain ecosystem designed to provide secure, untraceable, and confidential digital interactions. Initially launched as a fork of Monero, the network transitioned to a Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism supported by a robust network of masternodes. This architectural shift ensures high scalability, reduced transaction costs, and network stability, while allowing users to execute anonymous peer-to-peer transactions using its native privacy coin, BDX.
Beyond acting as a standard cryptocurrency network, Beldex is building a comprehensive suite of decentralized privacy-preserving applications. The ecosystem includes BChat, a highly confidential messaging platform, and BelNet, an onion-routed decentralized virtual private network (dVPN). By integrating advanced cryptographic techniques with user-friendly applications, Beldex aims to offer a complete, censorship-resistant infrastructure for retail users and enterprises prioritizing data sovereignty.
